Devon is a women currently living in Oakland, California who traced her roots back to Guinea Bissau. This blog is about her personal journey to Bissau, her connection with a village called Djati, and her gracious efforts in giving back to where her ancestors came from.

Paige Prentice - This Thing Called Life
Paige is a good friend of mine who I met while studying abroad in Brazil. She has recently accepted a research position in Indonesia to study Orangutangs. She will spend the next 8 months at a remote research site in the Jungles of Tuanan.
